THERMAL ANEMOMETER

TSI's thermal anemometer product line offers flexibility in designing a system that meets your flow measurement needs. You can select specific components from our full line to integrate with those you may already have or you can select a complete system and expand its capabilities by adding accessories. Every system must have an anemometer; one or more single-component, two-component, or three-component probes depending on your application; and an equivalent number of probe supports. Most systems will also include a probe calibrator, A/D converter, thermal anemometry software, and a computer. You may also choose to purchase probe calibration services from TSI.

Probe Supports and Adapters - Dual Sensor

These probe supports, available in different lengths, are designed for use with different two-sensor probes. A 90 degree angle adapter allows an end flow probe to be mounted with the probe support in the cross flow configuration.

Cross and end flow single sensor probes are used with these. They are available in different lengths. A 90 degree angle adapter allows an end flow probe to be mounted with the probe support in the cross flow configuration.

Single-channel SMARTTUNE™ Constant Temperature Anemometer

TSI research grade thermal anemometer systems (hot wire and hot film) are used in fluid mechanics research involving velocity, turbulence and other measurements in water channels and wind tunnels.

Temperature Module with Signal Conditioner

Module supplies the sensing current and signal conditioning needed to use a fine wire sensor as a resistance thermometer. Plugs into a standard TSI IFA300 research thermal anemometer.

THERMALPRO™ Software

Software exercises complete control over the operation of TSI's IFA 300 Research Constant Temperature Anemometer.

Automatic Velocity Calibrator with Pressure Transducer

Used with TSI's IFA 300 Research Constant Temperature Anemometer, this calibrator gives users the ability to integrate probe calibration with software control of anemometer settings and data acquisition.

Manual Velocity Calibrator with Pressure Transducer

The TSI Manual Velocity Calibrator can be used with any anemometer to provide precise calibrations of a wide range of thermal anemometry probes. The user has a choice of three pressure transducers.
